Open the gate without a front desk

Every booking gets its own access link, live only for the nights it paid for. Guests arrive when they like; you read the log in the morning.

The gate access page a guest opens from their confirmation email

The barrier is the reason a lot of small parks still keep somebody near the entrance until late. It is also the least interesting job on the site: waiting up for a car that may or may not arrive before midnight.

Each booking is emailed a unique access link. The guest taps it on arrival and the barrier lifts. No keypad, no code shared around a WhatsApp group, no key to post back.

How it behaves in practice

  • The link goes out automatically with the booking confirmation
  • It only opens the gate between check-in and check-out
  • One tap on the phone the guest already has in their hand
  • Every opening is logged with a timestamp and its source

Why a link and not a code

Codes travel. Written on a sign, forwarded to a friend, remembered from last summer — a shared code slowly stops being access control at all. A link belongs to one booking, expires on its own, and can be revoked the moment you need it gone.

The log matters more than people expect. When a guest insists they arrived on the Thursday, or a neighbour asks about a car at two in the morning, the answer is a timestamped line rather than a memory.
